Our Reopening Plan
Innovation is one of our core organizational values. For us this means embracing new possibilities at every turn and choosing imagination over imitation. Closing our physical doors across the nation has really stretched our imagination as we’ve adopted new practices and procedures to best serve the comfort, health, and overall happiness of our residents from a distance.
We realize that things may never again be ‘normal’. We’ve all gone through a global crisis together and we will likely feel the effects of this well into our future. It’s our commitment to you and to all future residents that we will continue to stretch beyond our current capabilities to bring you the best imaginable version of home.
As states move towards reopening and resuming business 'as normal’, we are doing the same. Our common areas are and have always been an integral benefit of living at an Alliance community, and we know many residents are eager for them to reopen. We are, too, but want to ensure you can enjoy them responsibly.
We’ve developed a detailed plan to ensure we are ready when the time is right. As we gradually re-open our community amenity spaces, we’ll do so in phases and will be introducing new health and capacity protocols to ensure we’re providing a clean environment for you to enjoy.
Because every community is working within state and local guidelines, we do not have dates attached to these phases. Please check in with your onsite staff for more detailed information about how they are approaching each phase.
Rent payments will continue to be accepted online only. Please see our detailed info about ONLINE PAYMENTS for more information.
We will be completing emergency work order requests and DIY non-emergency work orders only.
Our virtual leasing office will continue to remain open and begin accepting onsite, contactless, self-guided tours for future residents.
Common areas and amenities will remain closed as we monitor state and local reopening guidelines.
Resident events will continue to be postponed until further notice.
We will be indefinitely enforcing COVID-19 package acceptance protocols.
Common areas and amenities will gradually re-open during office hours at each resident’s own risk. We’ll also be limiting the number of people in each space per social distancing best practices and CDC guidelines. This means face coverings will be required and our service staff will frequently sanitize high-touch zones. Again: use of amenity spaces during Phase 2 will be at each resident’s discretion and at their own risk.
Our virtual leasing office will remain open and we will begin accepting in-person tours by appointment only.
We will begin scheduling in-person appointments to complete work orders while still offering DIY non-emergency work orders.
Our community will resume business as usual during Phase 3 but will be subject to CDC guidelines and social distancing best practices as directed by state and local officials.
Common areas and amenities will fully re-open.
Rent payments can be made in person but online payments will continue to be encouraged.
DIY Service Requests will be discontinued, and our regular maintenance request process will resume.
Our leasing office will fully reopen to the public for walk-in tours and all staff will return to the office, yet we will continue to evolve and encourage virtual and no-contact touring options.
Resident events will gradually return to community schedules but will take into consideration gathering limitation guidelines.
