The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced a global pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. It is increasingly affecting our society and our lives each day. We see this and want you to know that Alliance is committed to doing everything we can to guide and protect our residents and associates in the face of these challenges. In line with this, we are doing our part to maintain the health of our residents and associates. This includes the decision to no longer conduct business face-to-face. Until further notice, our leasing offices will be closed to anyone beyond the on-site team. Based on direction from WHO and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the single best method to slow the pace of infection is for people to have less direct or close contact with other people, along with the enhanced cleaning protocols we have already implemented.
What we need from you
We ask that you help us be stewards in decreasing the spread of germs and disease by using alternative methods to communicate with us, in lieu of an in-person visit. This includes contacting us by:
Resident Portal (The resident portal, if you aren’t yet familiar, offers a variety of features, including online rent payment.)
We are closing non-essential amenity spaces, to include:
other community spaces such as club rooms, fire pits and grilling areas
The closure of these non-essential amenities is to allow our teams to focus their resources and supplies on cleaning community corridors, elevators, handrails, doorknobs and other high-touch surfaces.
All essential community amenities, such as mail rooms/kiosks, package storage/pick-up, laundry facilities and dog parks, will remain open.
Resident Events + Event Gatherings
Resident events and gatherings have been suspended until further notice and our service teams will postpone completion of non-emergency service requests at this time. We are working through protocols which would allow us to complete these requests while still reducing risk for residents and associates. We’ll provide an update as soon as we are able.
In the meantime, we will continue to focus our efforts on maintaining the buildings with additional emphasis on hygiene.
Lastly, we are augmenting package acceptance policies where current processes may require foot traffic in the leasing office by package carriers. Additional details will be shared shortly. We know you depend on us to provide the comforts of home, particularly during uncertain times, and we will continue to operate with that at the forefront of our minds.
